Amy's Story
Life
I met my husband in September of 1998 and we were married in August of 1999. We live in St Louis now. We adopted our fist son, Xander,who came home in January of '07 and his adoption was finalized the following August. After six years of dealing with infertility issues, (which lead us to pursue adoption) D.B. and I learned I was pregnant in March of last year, just two months after Xander came home. Little brother Matthew was born in November and is a wonderful new blessing for our family. D.B. and I are crazy busy now, and loving absolutely every minute of it! adds a whole new level of fun to our household!
I am fortunate to be a stay at home mom now, and I am in the process of starting a playgroup for adopted children (and their parents!) here in North County in addition to being very busy and active in our church and in local early childhood education activities with the boys. In my spare time I am co-admin of a Walt Disney World fan message board online.
Most weekday mornings you'll find me working out (I know, who'd have thunk it?) in preparation for a big family vacation we're taking just after we ring in the new year.
