(Update Sept 22nd, 2013) Pic is current and sooooo much as happened over the past few years. I'll come back and update it all when I have more time. (November 1st, 2008) Wow, it's almost scary to think that in 2 months it will be the year 2009. What really amazes me is that it seems like only yesterday the year 2000 was approaching. I guess I never took the term "time flies" very seriously. Regardless, I'm not going to complain about feeling 10 years younger than the year posted on my calender. So, here's a brief updated version of my bio. I'm now officially divorced after 18yrs of marriage. As most can imagine, it can be very difficult holding a marriage together once you've been told that your child will be a special needs child. There's a big misconception out there that families grow stronger through situations like ours. The reality is the exact opposite. Lot's of blaming and emotional roller coasters. In the end it was for the best. I've finally realized what a hell of a strong woman I've become over the years. I have been so blessed by what I've been given. My son was completely healthy at birth. He progressed normally until age 2yr. After he turned 2 the seizures began. I know God blessed me with Jacob for a reason. I look at it like this: He sees the world with pure and untainted eyes.
