Andi's Story
Life
I moved to Vermont because I hate being around big cities, and lots of people. I need to live close to nature, enjoy being around trees and animals more than crowds.
I work as an entomologist for the Dept. of Agriculture, but hope to take early retirement in 3 to 5 years. I have spent the last 5 years studying different types of natural/alternative healing. I have studied massage, Chinese medicine and Asian bodywork, herbology, and reiki. I do these part time now, but want to do them full time in retirement.
I spend most of my free time either hiking in the woods, or volunteering time with environmental groups, or peace and justice groups. I have been very involved with local advoc...Expand for more
acy groups of these types, and may run for local office one day. My biggest passion is promoting sustainable, earth friendly agriculture practices. Vermont is a state with a large farming population, and I would like to run for office to help make laws promoting organic, and other types of sustainable farming.
Nature is the source of my spirituality, and is the basis for every decision I make. I try to live my life in a way that is as easy on the Earth as possible.

Texas Tech- Attended grad school in Entomology for 1 year doing work on Imported Fire Ants.
