Andrea's Story
Life
I've been living in Wilmington, North Carolina since 1994 and loving it. To keep me company, I have my husband, Mark, two dogs, Bailey and Belle, and now two toddlers. We're seven miles from the ocean and I would live closer if we could afford it.
I teach middle school, 6th-8th grade, which in my wildest dreams I wouldn't have imagined. The children are wonderful and I love my school. This will be my seventh year as the Gifted Education Resource Specialist.

ber 2006, we became legal guardians of 14 month old faternal twin girls, Jade and Summer. (The girls were our foster daughters from December 2005-06.)
Military
I'm a military wife with a husband recently deployed with the United States Navy to the United Arab Emirates. Mark has twenty years in the Navy and was deployed as a Reservist in January 2006. He returned December 2006. It was interesting and with the Internet and skype.com, we're able to communicate on a regular basis with Internet video phone.
