Andrea's Story
Life
Life is really great right now. After college, I worked several jobs before moving to Joplin with my fiance. We built a house last year and moved in last September. After a lot of planning, we got married in KC on June 11, 2005! I am so happy to be his wife and look forward to many happy years of marriage. No plans for kids in the near future, but we do enjoy spoiling our puppy, Penny.
School
I graduated in May 02 from CMSU with a BFA in Commercial Art. Since then, I hve worked several jobs in my field. Currently, I am working as the Marketing and PR Director for a large anti-poverty Not-For-Profit agency in Joplin. I lo...Expand for more
ve what I am doig, but plan on returning to school (maybe this fall) to pursue an MBA in Marketing Administration at MSSU.
Workplace
Currently, I am working as the Marketing and PR Director for a large not-for-profit in Joplin. The name of the agency is Economic Security Corporation and we provide anti-poverty programs for our four county area... including HUD, Head Start, Weatherization programs, etc. It is great work and I get to see the result of our hard work on a daily basis. Last year we helped get over 400 families out of poverty! I feel blessed every day knowing that I am doing something that really makes a difference.
