Andrea's Story
A warm hello to those of you who have communicated on this site for years. In 2015 I joined and never logged in. Now, older {!} and not spending time with volunteer activities, I hope to learn about the lives of all of you!
After retiring from 32 years in social work (court probation, Adoptions, Supervision of Jackson Co. OR Child Protective Services) I got hooked on genealogy and my volunteering at the Genealogy Library in Medford became an unpaid, nearly full-time job, but I loved it. I married in 1968 and this is our 54th year. Two children, 4 grandchildren and a recent gr-grandchild. My love has been traveling and I just did a Shutterfly book "50 years o...Expand for more
f camping" with photos and stories. I'll be glad to review the memories when my memory is totally shot! Jack and I moved to Bend in April. We were in Medford 53 years with a large home and 9 acres....too much work now. Age has crept up with all the aches and pains to go with it. Not a fan of the wrinkles and grey hair, but can dye the hair.
I'm learning about this site and "friend" requests I assume is for this site only and not Facebook. I have 7 family "friends" only on Facebook. Just wanted to keep up on just the grandchildren.
I have fond memories of grade school and CHS. Thank you for the kind compliments and enjoy what is left of the summer 2022. Andrea
