Andrea's Story
I was Andrea Lucas in the class of winter 1964. Then my folks bought a house in Torrance. Torrance did not have A and B classes. My folks moved back to Pedro when I was in the 9th grade, hence I was in High School in Torrance and had to go to Dana Jr. High, needless to say I was not a happy camper. All of the friends that I had, had in elementry school were a grade ahead of me in Jr.High. During the remainder of the 9th Grade I spent most week-ends back in Torrance with my friends. I was really shy and didn't make new friends easily. When I went to High School I became friends with the Thomas girls, Dawn, Pam and Sue, I'm an only child and the whole Thomas family adopted me.
During the summer between my Jr.and Sr. years I married Kenne White. We had two children Natalie and Michael and divorced around four years later.

. My mother was from Georgia and back in GA at the time.
I went to work for Southern Bell and retired from what was then BellSouth in 2003. I only stayed married for 8 or 9 years and have been divorced for about 24 or 25 years. I don't think marriage was meant to last for me.
I lived in the Atlanta area for about 34 years I'm now in a very small south Georgia town about four doors down from my mother and her husband
My Mom has Alzheimer's Disease (moderate) and needs me close by.
I'm no longer shy and have made some wonderful friends. Both of my kids have turned out really good and each have two children each, in fact I became a Great-Grandmother last April. and Natalie is a Grandmother.
I have a good life and have been blessed many times over. I do miss San Pedro terribly It's truly a beautiful Town. I visit Sue and Dawn as often as I can.
