Andrea's Story

well, the most exciting thing that i have going for me is i am in one book in the cuyahoga falls library called voices in verse in the poetry section. i go to the poet's nook every second wednesday of the month. well, there are other great writers in there, but i have six or so in there. i enjoy writing poetry, and meeting new people. i am much more of a people person sometimes then i was in high school. i enjoy languages because i love to challenge my mind. i like chinese mandarin, but i only know a few words, but i can still understand spanish, and i have self-taught myself spanish instead of making terrible mistakes, but, alas i am an intermidiate in spanish. i remember some phrases in french. i want to improve in french, too. i help in esol at the main library. we're a good group.we all like each other. anyone who truly likes me may add me as their friend, but if you don't stay away. i hope my adverseries find peace, and my friends find happiness and good fortune. see ya. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is mathew mccormick, because he was so cute. i tried to take tae kwon do, tai chi and martial arts, but my cousin Brian commited suicide, and i quit, then when i was in tai chi, my friends brother died, and i helped her out with 100 dollars so i quit, and the last one the teacher had a crush on me so i quit. If I won $100 million, I'd give 10 million of it to research, then spend the rest on weight loss, new home and luxuries that are necessary. i never got into the campus life. My current age is 39. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be in better shape, take better care of their teeth, have many successes, a lovely spouse, . I was so completely wrong.. My best friend would tell you I'm talkative, mischeivous, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as quiet. wow, i don't dress like i did 10 or even 20 years ago most of the time. i have smaller glasses, i wear more feminine blouses, and i wear nicer jeans, and no floods. my oldest friends are kirk morgan, and priscilla pollit. well, i met kirk in gym class, and he kept hanging around me. i don't remember how i met priscilla, but she's married now with 2 girls. jennell has left home.katie is still young and lives with her. she loves her husband, and she is still hyper, but ...Expand for more
has mellowed some. i will never forget the first time i saw a star wars preview when i was 7, and i swore i was going to see that movie, and somehow i did get to see that movie, and then a billion times on hbo whether i wanted to or not. in my childhood i think i had to grow up faster than other people it seems. i didn't get alot of family attention, because my family lives in many different states like california, west virginia, virginia and florida, but i love to see my family when they do visit or write. some are incorrigible. may i share a poem? glimpses of happiness, moments in sorrow, dandelions choke your green, pleasantries yet to be seen, choking past sadness, waiting for gladness, hope is on feathered wings, gliding as the heart sings, sadness waits behind the eyes, the dove in your heart cries, making sense of what was done, alone are we, but yet not only one. may i share another poem?this is Flower with Flare...Flowers are like a silent fireworks display, They give off brilliant hues without a delay, yellow buds surround those of brilliant colors of red, reds spurt forth around yellow in the flower bed. Flowers shift and sway throughout the day, wonderful colors to catch the eye in silent sway. Brilliant shades of color that brighten along the way. Bursts of color in summer's hues for hardly a stay.Beautiful flowers gathered in every hue. All the shades glisten whith a touch of dew. I wish there were more in the color of blue. For every one I see I wish that there were two. Shades bursting forth in oranges, yellows and red. Watch their display in their silent flower bed. Bursting hues intermingle just as I've said. Their silent fireworks in their silent flower bed. this one is copyrighted as far as i know. Sweet Dreams Little One...Little messenger angels wearing white-dove clothes, Sprinkle faerie sleep dust right above your nose. Sweet dreams little one and rest your weary eyes. You look so angelic that your guardian angel sighs. Sweet Dreams little one the stars above you twinkle,Faeries slip in with their sleep dust and silently sprinkle, With the blankets you snuggle in be d real deep, All the world around you are trying to get some sleep. Well, it's just a sample of my poems. For those people that don't like poems there are always different styles. I enjoy the funny ones myself.
