Andrea's Story
Life
Hello to anyone who reads this little lil-autobiography. I did not graduate from Newport High, however the years I spent in the Lincoln County school district are the longest of any other school I attended. I moved in 1984/85 to Salem, Oregon and then I spent some time living in Massachusetts. Everything is quite older there ofcourse; & the weather is more severe. The sailing was fun and Cape Cod is beautiful; however I feel California has the most spectacular coastline I have ever seen. I graduated from Vancouver, Washington in 1988 then moved with my best friend to San Diego whom I met while attending Waldport Highschool in 1986/87. I returned to the Portland/Vancouver area and worked for local hospitals as a nurse staffer and radiology clerk till I moved in 1995 to Los Angeles, where I currently live.
I love the sunny weather here and beautiful beaches. I have a fiancee from the middle east & I traveled a few years ago to his country (Gaza City)- Palestine. I am glad and blessed to live in such a free and opportunistic country after spending time in a third world culture. Tel-Aviv was beautiful- right on the Mediterranean sea, great nightlife & the people are very open. Palestine has beautiful coastline too; however because of the on-going problems there it is very dirty. The best thing about Gaza City is you can buy solid gold jewelry very cheap! The arabic food is very delicous and the language quite vast and beautiful- many dialects. My favorite ar...Expand for more
abic singer is Ramy Ayach. He is lebanese and sings a beautiful love ballad- Shatiluck.
I work as an apartment manager and a part-time clerical worker for temporary agencies. I have no children but a wonderful cat named Sphynx. My hobbies are still for the most part the same- art, writing and traveling. I recently traveled to Spokane, Washington and spent a few months with my Aunt Judy touring the Northwest. We went to a bavarian town called Leavenworth, Washington. It is very romantic and has a European feel. There is a lot of ornate shops and wine tasting boutiques- Washington is the largest producer of wine outside of California. Since I love wine, what more can I say?
I always wanted to be a model when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right; however, mostly just modeled for Kelly Girl as a model for jewelry auctions. So I developed my other passion: writing..
I like Victor Hugo's work and Stephen King.
I had a bunny named: Hazel I realized how adept & smart rodents are, similar to rats. I wrote a story in his honor titled: Life in the Madrona Marsh
My best friend would tell you I'm a gluten for fun, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as too much..
A bit; however, now my skirts are longer.
In 10 years, I hope to be making a living from writing. I'm going to get there by who I"m made to be..
