Andrea's Story
Class of '70 - we lived in a different era. Who would have thought (back in 1970), that I would be writing this on my laptop, sitting in the living room, attachd to the internet via cable and wireless router. What a life!
I guess once a nerd, always a nerd. I graduated from LSU in Baton Rouge in '74 with my BS in Computer Science and again in '78 with my MS in System Science.
I was married for 15 years and have two sons. Of course they went to LSU as well.
I have to admit my career has been a wild one. I have stayed with...Expand for more
computers - from Louisiana State Police to programmable cash registers to retail to banking to hospital systems. I have been a road warrior for the past 10 years working with large hospitals in the upgrades, installation, and modifications of mainframe software. Currently, I am on contract with the University of Michigan Health Systems and fly back a forth from Baton Rouge. I have to say that winters in Michigan are brutal for this southerner. Then again, I have the advantage during summer.
