Andrea's Story
Life
Here is a picture of me and my younger brother David. I have been through a lot since high school. I was in a car accident when I was 21 yrs old. I was hit by a drunk driver and 2 people in the accident were killed. I obviously lived, but now I am disabled. I have lived everday since then in excrutiating pain. I haven't been able to accomplish all of the things in life that I feel I am supposed to. I did go to college in Arizona. I have lived here in Phoenix for almost 8 years now and I like it here. I have a boyfriend who is very handsome and nice. We have been together for 2 years. We live together in a beautiful apartment with our 2 dogs, and our bunny rabbit. I am on disabilty and I don't work. I keep myself busy w/ my hobbies. I love to decorate for myself and my friends. I have decorate...Expand for more
d quite a few homes and pride myself on being very creative. I also enjoy taking my dogs to the dog park. I love to go sing karaoke w/ my friends at the bar. My best friend is also disabled. She is in a wheelchair. She and I have a lot in common and have been friends for years. She also was in a car accident that left her paralyzed from the chest down. I can walk fortunately. My left arm was paralyzed for a year. I now have full movement of it and can use it normally. I have 2 different chronic pain diseases and tons of nerve damage. I am surviving though and certainly don't mean to make anyone feel sorry for me. That is definitely not my intention for sharing this. I do want anyone reading this to know that whatever life throws your way, take it, feel it, and use it to make you a stronger person.
