-Received my Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1984.
-Served as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force from 1985-2007, retiring on July 1, 2007 as a Lieutenant Colonel.
