Andrew's Story
After Hersey, I earned a B.S. degree in Animal Science at S.I.U. and had a career with Alfa Laval Agri-group. Later, I earned a Master of Divinity at Covenant Seminary in St. Louis. For the next 30 years, I served as an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America. I married Kathy (an ESL teacher) in 1986. We have one daughter, a son in law who is also a pastor, and two granddaughters. I completed the work on a Doctors of Divinity degree, but never did the dissertation. mns and have had the opportunity to play with some of the greats. I have enjoyed wonderful health and have been able to travel abroad on mission trips and vacations. Lately, I have been doing lots of building and woodwork on our new home in the mountains of North Carolina, near Boone. I enjoy restoring old things. I completed a huge 1901 piano, a 1948 Ford Tractor, a 1942 WWII Jeep, and I am working on a 1948 "Canned Ham" camper. There is always something new to learn and friends to meet. From time to time, I fill in providing pulpit supply, preaching and preparing for various concerts. I am so very grateful for my various friends and experiences at Hersey High. God bless us every one.
