Andrew's Story
Hi Folk,s
My name is Andrew Corsie,and have just got on line with this classmates club.
I am from Edinburgh,SCOTLAND,but spent 3yrs in Irwin PA.1967-70and went to Irwin Jun. High,and then on to Norwin Snr High.
I left High school at age 16/17 to continue my education, back in Scotland,as an Engineering apprentice.
I joined "THE PARACHUTE REGIMENT" T.A.
(part time) whilst serving my time as an apprentice,and got my BRITISH PARA WINGS>>>>and I was also Champion recruit during my VERY tough training.
THIS REGIMENT IS THE EQUIVELENT TO YOUR "AIRBORNE"
I became involved in the oil&gas industry,in the NORTH SEA< 100mls off the coast of Scotland,and was a WELDING SUPERVISOR,WELDING Q.A....Expand for more
,WELDING INSTRUCTOR.I worked for many years as a pipe welder,in the above industry and worked on many contracts in main land Europe,Amsterdam,Rotterdam.France,
Germany,and also offshore.British sector,Dutch sector.
I was very ill 5yrs ago and had a stroke,and no longer work,but I do vol work,part time.
I like Rock n Roll,the Stones, the Who,
Bob Segar,Punk,Sex Pistols,Bowie,etc.
I use a walking stick due to my stroke.
I am single,but have 2 girls and 1 boy, in there 20,s.
I follow "THE GLASGOW RANGERS" soccer
team.
I hope this has given you some idea of what I have been up to since I left the States many years ago.
