Life
I've been living in western Massachusetts for around 30 years. It's rural and beautiful and I don't miss the traffic in the eastern part of the state. I'm married and I've got three (grown) children!

I retired a few years ago and I have been busy enjoying our new "empty nest". It was a difficult readjustment when the children went off to college. Our three kids were all born within a two year period (twins and then a singleton). When they left it was quite differen...Expand for more
t around here. The house seemed to be too big and too quiet. Now we have gotten used to it and life is back on an even keel.
Where I live is like heaven on earth. I am in a small town (population less than 2,000) and I am at the end of a dead end dirt road. We have a couple hundred acres (yes, you can have a big place even in Massachusetts) and I am working hard to make it into a paradise. This spring I am planting 70 fruit trees, stocking the pond with 100 trout and I am getting a hive of bees.
