Andrew's Story
Life
Born and raised in Burbank my whole life, after JBHS, I went to CSUN and UCLA to become an aerospace engineer. Got my first break into Hughes Aircraft from Gunars Sneider, and worked with Aeyoung Yoon, now Strock at Hughes Space & Communications in El Segundo (both JBHS '79). All three of us are now part of Raytheon Electronics who bought Hughes in the late '90s. I married in 1988 and together with my wife we have 4 children with Welsh first names since my wife is Welsh. the LA traffic and cost of living. My mother still lives in Burbank and I visit regularly. My dad past away this last summer after a short series of strokes, very upsetting to us all, but we are all doing fine. Still friends with John Lien and his family of brothers and sisters. We enjoy going to rock concerts between golf matches even after all these years including Rush, Doors, and the Who, all bands my 13 year old son enjoys as well. Too strange. Life is good, hard work and busy family life, otherwise pretty regular existence.
