Michele's Story
PATRICK RUSSELL
ADELE BISSONNETTE
This information is for my mom and dad who are both healthy at 88 and 90 years old respectively. Mom is Adele Bissonnette from Washburn High.
Patrick joined the Navy and flew missions in WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. He then worked for Navy at the Pentagon and finally for the Federal Aviation Administration until he retired in 1967.
They had six kids. I'm in the middle. Mom raised us virtually alone during those years when Dad was on a carrier somewhere....Expand for more
Dad always says he would have amounted to nothing if he hadn't married Mom with her strength and good economic judgement.
All but one of us kids live near Mom and Dad and we get together about once a month. Dad played a golf tournament yesterday and won a new golf bag! He researches historical topics and lectures a local history group, swims almost every day and golfs at least once a week. He drives a 20-year-old car.
We would love to hear from any of Mom or Dad's high school acquaintances or friends.
