I wear Converse One Stars, which, much to my dismay, have been discontinued (WTF?). I used to teach high school English in Harford County, MD. I left because the pay was awful and the return was minimal (I tried to believe that the success of my students was the big payoff...but I just couldn't buy it). Worked for Random House Publishing for many years as a sales rep in the NYC metro area (which was an AWESOME job because I got to meet and work with many interesting and [occasionally] famous people), but got out of that biz when the opportunity to buy a bar/restaurant/nightclub came along. That was 3 1/2 years ago, and though I sometimes miss working for "The Man" (regular paid vacations & paid medical insurance being a BIG factor), I really do like being my own boss. Once married, soon-to-be divorced...a tragedy, I know, but no children were harmed in the dissolution of said marriage (i.e. - no kids). I've traveled a bit and spent months at a time in Europ...Expand for more
