Life
I joined the Navy right out of high school. I met the love of my life in Monterey, California while attending Russian language school. We married in 1976 and spent my naval career tranferring between northern Japan and NSA (no such agency.) I think the long separations we endured during my deployments to subs and air squadrons actually brought the family closer together. We didn't take each other for granted. as a Master Chief in 1993 and we returned to the MOnterey Peninsula.(When I retired, "she who must be obeyed" informed she was going home and that I was welcome to join her. Thank God she was from Carmel and not Minot, ND.) We have a 26 year old daughter living in the area. I am currently the operations manager for a large property management company in Carmel, CA. We enjoy camping, off-roading in our Jeep, and world travel.
