Andrew (Andy) Bolt
I retired with the rank of Command Sergeant Major in October 2014 after 30 years of US Government service, twenty-four of those years on Active Duty working in the field of Counter Narcotics and Narco-Terrorism. During my career, I worked closely with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies as well as with numerous foreign law enforcement entities, including INTERPOL, the Colombian Federal Narcotics Police, the Israeli Security Services, the Afghan Security Forces, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Scotland Yard. After the attacks on September 11, 2001, I deployed multiple times for both CONUS and OCONUS Missions in support of the Global War On Terrorism.

I served from 1992 until 1999 with the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)’s Federal Narcotics Task Force. I also served from 1999 until 2006 with the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, assisting with the tracking and apprehension of Federal Fugitives.
I have led Protective Security Details (PSD) for US General Officers in Asia, South America and the Middle East.
From May 2007 through June 2008, I served in Southern Afghanistan as a Senior Military Advisor to the Afghan Security Forces and subsequently graduated from the Afghan Counterinsurgency Academy.
My last assignment prior to retiring was serving as the Sergeant Major and Deputy Counterdrug Coordinator for a Counter Narcotics Task Force.
My awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Special Forces Combat Insignia and both US Army and Laotian Airborne Wings.
