Andy's Story
Life
Grew up in Mahanoy City, after high school, i attended a computer programming school in Harrisburg. I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in '69, boot camp and training in Great Lakes, Chicago area for 18 months. I was stationed at the Radio Transmitting facility in Lualualei Hawaii for 4 and1/2 years.
Married Carla Koval in 1972, we lived in Hawaii for 12 years. Leilani was born there a few years later. Moved to California in 1984, Ashley was born in Walnut Creek. We have been in Concord CA. for over 23 years.
I've experienced hurricanes, and numerous earthquakes in Hawaii and California. Watched whales breaching, and dolphins swimming along side me while sailing in the Pacific Ocean.

I sat on a mountain top and watched a volcano erupt 150 feet into the air a half mile away. Visiting the great water falls on Maui along the drive to Hana, and Akaka and Kuhuna falls on the big Island of Hawaii, as well as the falls and beauty of Yosemite have provided inspiration and joy through out my life.
In the good old days I ran in many a 10K race, almost every weekend, and several half marathons, and a few 140 mile relays. I participated in and completed the Honolulu Marathon four times.
I've battled cancer, and major back surgery and still have a lot more life to live and new things to experience and do.
There are many golf courses that are waiting for me to visit, and thousands of pictures waiting to be taken. The best is yet to come! I play my guitars and Ukuleles everyday.
