College
Bah, working full time and going to school in the evening isn't a very efficient way of getting a degree. I currently have a AS in Information Tech, but I don't plan on using it. :) I'm attenting school at OSU in oklahoma city to get a BS in human resource management. It'll go faster after this spring when I leave the Air Force.
Military
I'd wanted to join the Air Force since I was about 8. Looking back, it was probably the best thing I could have done. Decent job with decent pay, lots of travel, and meeting people from all over the country. Aft...Expand for more
er 8 years, I have been to about 40 states, and spent some time in about a dozen countries. Got to take part in Operations: Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and many, many, exercises. Favorites were Red Flag in Las Vegas, and Maple Flag in Cold Lake, Alberta. Flying on AWACS has been kinda cool, but it's sort of a dead end "button smashing" job.
I'm getting out this June since I've kinda lost interest in my job. I would train into something else, but I can't since we are under manned. Still, I'd highly recommend the Air Force to anyone interested.
