Life Like alot of Bechtel families, I moved from BC halfway through the junior year. I moved to Aiken, SC, and finished High School there. I went on to college, but quickly became bored, so I joined the Army. I spent four years in the Army, and got to travel to such nice vacation spots as Hati, Honduras, The Korean DMZ, and Saudi Arabia. I also got to go to Japan and Germany. I got out of the Army in 1996, and went to work for a local Chevy dealership as a mechanic. After about six months, I got a job as a civilian employee of the Department of Defense. I work at a National Guard Depot, repairing heavy equipment such as Bulldozers, graders, ect. I am also in the SC National Guard, in Company A, 122 combat Engineer Batallion. I then was called up with my National Guard unit to go fight in Operation Iraqi Freedom. We were attatched to the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, and saw 12 months of comb...Expand for more
