Andy's Story

After Fort Hunt I went to West Point and to the amazement of old and new friends I actually graduated from WooPoo and spent 30 years in the Air Force. Flew B-52s and had some interesting desk assignments (teaching at the AF Academy, staff officer at the Pentagon and SHAPE in Belgium). As an Air Force brat, I was stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany when the Berlin Wall went up...Expand for more
, and I was on the SHAPE staff when it came down. I retired as a Brig Gen with very fond memories of my time spent in the cockpit and with the fine men and women of our armed forces. Retirement found me single again (I guess the thought of being with me full time was too much for anyone to take), and I've finally left northern VA to retire in Sedona, AZ since Jan of 2012.
