Life
(04/07) On maternity leave at the moment, but still in corporate job, still married, 1 bebe named Gretchen born 2/1/07. Life as a mum has me realizing there is so much we just don't know and just have to learn. Holy cow. Bought a house in Sonoma 6/06, found out we were pregnant the day before escrow closed...whew! Looking at changing jobs at the end of the year. Doug Thompson's wife Kamala & I had babies at around the same time and we're in the same Mommy Infant group. "Mommy Infant group"...I speak a whole new language these days...
(07/05) Still in corporate job, still married, still no kids, still in Sonoma but did move, still no time, and still too much to do. Huh. That's not exactly progress, is it? But I make a pretty mean homemade ice cream in the summer-time, by gum.

(10/00) Been living in Eureka, CA this last year and a half and I'm moving back to Sonoma in Nov. Giving up my "corporate" job with State Farm Insurance to work with my Mom in my hometown. It's taken me the last few years to realize how important my family is to me, especially when you've faced the possibility of losing them. A sacrifice? NEVER! Being close to the Bay Area again will be like walking off the set of Deliverance and into the civilized world...OK, that's a little harsh...Divorced after a pretty tumultuous marriage. I would have preferred a different method for a Learning Experience, but do we ever get to choose? Nope. Besides, I got to live in Italy for 3 years, which I wouldn't change for anything. There's a give and a take no matter what you do in this big, beautiful world.
