Aneen's Story

It's 2010, hard to believe! I'm still working at a prison out here and oddly still enjoying it! I am working the night shift out there and hate that part of my job, but I will be going back to days this summer and I can't wait! I visit with my family as often as possible, either here in town (Las Vegas) or out of state to visit with my grandkids and their parents! LOL I do have one more grandchild on the way and he will be coming into the world at the end of July and that will make 3 children for my eldest daughter. I will be out there to help her and can't wait. My grandaughters are now 16 and 14 and are into the texting etc. so it's easier to "talk with them now"! Her youngest is now 3! How time flies.... My youngest daughters' children are now 13, 12, 10, 8 and the newest one is 1 ! I know have 8 grandchildren! I still have family here in Vegas and get together with them as much as possible. joy getting together with my friends and seeing the sites of Nevada. This really is a beautiful state. The strip is nothing in comparison, but that's where most people want to go. I'm still single and can't imagine my life any other way. I enjoy dating and dancing and all the other normal stuff. Maybe some day I will take the plunge again, as it would probably be nice to grow old with someone, but I have open invitations from my children, to live with them, in my old age. I think it would be kind of fun to stay out late, have them worry, maybe having the police call them, because I've done something I shouldn't have, you know, act like a teenager again and they will know what it I went through, when they were in their teens. LOL Hope you all are doing well and I hope to run into some of you when I go back to Milwaukee for another visit. My big question though is, when are we going to have a reunion?
