Anette's Story
Life
At almost 55 and counting, I am very content with my life. It is very busy. I live in a small community (population 5800) I still work four days a week as an office manager for a podiatrist. I am an avid quilter and craft hobbist.
I raised my husband's four children, and I now have 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Having a ready made family right out of high school, was interesting and challenging. We all survived, even my learning how to cook!
We moved to Oregon 23 years ago and have not regretted it a single day. It does not rain...Expand for more
here all the time as most everyone thinks. Right now, in the middle of July, the temperature is 88.
One of my biggest accomplishments I think is remaining married after nearly 37 years. Also raising 4 children and surviving. We also raised one of our grandchildren for 10 years.
Life is good and god is greater!
School
I was very shy and quiet in high school, that is definitely not the case now. I am very outspoken and a lot more fun to be around. I enjoyed my high school years. Especially the boy crushes and all the friends I still think about.
