Angel's Story
Life
Well a lot of you know me as the guy who always was running. Well I kept on running. A lot has happened to me since high school. After high school I was the California State Champion at 800 meters for RCC. I recieved a full scholarship to the University of Texas. I came home shortly though. I took a few years off of school and trained myself. I earned a sponsorship with NIKE and qualified for the 2000 Olympic Trials. I am back in school now on a full scholarship at Cal Baptist University where I have already recieved 1 national championship at 800 meters indoors, and All-Ame...Expand for more
rican honors at 600 meters indoors. I am currently training for the world championships. I hope to fulfill all of my hopes and dreams. In 2002, I graduated from Cal Baptist University with a degree in Kinesiology. After college I kept up with running and started coaching high school and junior college cross country and track. I ran 4:02 for the mile and 1:47 for 800 meters to qualify for this years Olympic Trials. I have also got into triathlons and hope to concentrate on that after my running career is over. I love competing at this high level and I have enjoyed every bit of it.
