Angela's Story
I graduated from Abilene High School in 1986 from Abilene, TX. I joined the Army in 1991. I was stationed in Germany from 1991 to 1994. Then I went to Fort Sill, OK from 1994 to 1996. From there I went to Fort Lewis, WA from 1996 to 1998. After I left the active side of the Army in 1998, I went straight into the Texas Army National Guard where I have been since. m currently training to deploy to Afghanistan in October of 2009.
I have been an LVN since December of 2001. I just graduated from RN school with an Associates Degree. Although I just graduated, I still have to study for and pass the NCLEX state boards to receive my license and practice as an RN. I am happily married to my husband Glen, a retired soldier since 2000 and have a grown step-son and 6 dogs. I love being a soldier and I love being a nurse.
