Angela's Story
Life
My Spouse
We knew each other from childhood. We both got married to someone else right out of High School, got divorced and now we are married 12 years we have been together for 19 years.
My Pets
I have a Rott. He weighs 150lbs and is four years old. He is a loving dog. We are looking to mate him soon but do not want to mate him with any other breed.
Our Rasco was hit by a train and killed this past January 31, 2002. We miss him so much. Sometimes I still think he is in the yard.
My Kids

My Job
I run a self-suffic...Expand for more
iency program. I have four casemanagers and one secretary. As of 3/11/02, I work for the Newark Housing Authority, located in Newark, NJ. I am a Community Self-Sufficiency Director. My job is to make sure over 2,000 people receive the case management services set forth by HUD's HOPE VI program. A Federal Government program designed to improve the quality of life for public housing residents. I contract community agencies to provide services to the family members that will assist them in becoming self-sufficient. Job training, GED attainment, ESL,child care and health care is only a portion of assistance available. Helping people live better lives is what I enjoy doing.
