Life
My Spouse
Mike & I have been married since 1998. We live in Gaithersburg, MD. He went to Gaithersburg HS & I went to Seneca Valley. We are active in the community through the Gaithersburg/Germantown Jaycees, which is how we met. I've been involved on the local G&G board and on the state board as a VP. He plays volleyball and golfs; I soon hope to return to volleyball (sidelined due to an injury) and I scrapbook.
My Pets
We have a cat and a 5 month old golden retriever puppy. I never knew how hard it is to raise a puppy! They are hard work! The "kids" are just starting ...Expand for more

My Job
I do the daily commute from Gaithersburg to Alexandria, VA as a Proposal Manager. It's always fun ancitipating where the next traffic jam will be!
Workplace
I've had a wide variety of experiences - from training coordinator and self-appointed PowerPoint pro to web administrator to where I am now as a Proposal Manager. It's been an interesting journey and I am so happy to finally have a job where my peers respect me. I'm learning so much about writing proposals but I'm enjoying every minute of it...well, except that loooooooong commute each way!
