Angela's Story

Hello, I am the formerly known Angela Hutchinson. After graduation from vo-tech I started college to become of all things a flight attendent. But unfortunatly I fell into that big wall of love. And of course he was not the guy I thought he was, he was good looking, but a real con artist/ gyspy. Unbeknownst to me he already had a wife and he had to divorce before we could get married. I found out later he has taking advantage of several woman of all ages elderly he did not care. I got pregnant and thought the right thing to do was to get married. Let me tell you the nicest thing that he ever gave me was my 2 sons. After the birth of my first son I developed a golf ball size lump above my right hip. After 2 second opinions and 3 weeks passing. It had grown to a basketball size tumor. I was sceduled for shots to shrink what they called fibriod tumors. I turned them down, thank god I did because after they opened me up and my Dr. left me open for 7 hours while he contacted a specialist from Pittsburgh to walk him through how to remove this large tumor. He got it out it was hanging off the right ovary. I was sceduled for a hysterectomy. But did not get it done. So 3 months later I found out I was pregnant agian with what the doctors refer to as the miracle baby because they informed me that I would not be able to became pregnant agian because I had only one ovary. But my second son was born and he weighed 10 pounds and 5 onces and I had to go natural. I eventually divorced my husband because he abuse me and started on my kids so I gave him the boot. I start college and now have a associate degree in Secretarial Science with a major of medical. But because I have had 15 surgeries and 6 months of chemo I am unable to work due to other health problems. I had a rare germ cell cancer mainly found in men in their testicles, 1 in a million woman get it. I have been cancer free for 9 years. I had chemo in 1999 after I married my second husband. Thank god for him he has been there for me through some of my biggest surgeries and has always stuck by me. He is a godsend. It is funny I married my bother in law by marria...Expand for more
ge, my ex and his ex were step brother and sister. And the funny thing is there parents went to court to make sure we got the children. So now I have 3 sons Scott 17, Timothy 15, & John 17. I love them all so much they are great sons they allow no one to mess with me, 2 graduate next school year and plan on college. My son Scott has a form of austism called asberger's sydrome witch is a challenge every day he is special school and does terrific he has a college IQ and is very smart he just has poor social skills, anxieties, and all sorts of phobias. I myself am a stay at home mom and housewife, I enjoy it. My husband works for comcast cable and has been there for about 11 years he really likes it. We are a family of technology geeks my boys can fix computers and bulid them and we do alot of gaming parties through the network. I am still learning but can fix many computer problems. Often for my family. I wrote a book about chemo and am still looking for a publisher to publish it for me. I would like to say the years have been good to me but I feel I look very bad, I am used to being very thin but I have some weight on me now. And a stomach that is hard to get rid of because I have been opened so many times they say time marches on I feel it has marched over my face and body. Poeple tell me I am too self conscious about it. But I am it is a big deal to be covered in scars, a big deal. I know have anxieties because of all I have been through my Dr. says it is because I have had too many near death moments. All I can say positive is I am alive and I have survived since 1991 for some purpose. I think it to help others facing cancer which I try hard to do. But cancer is subject that often makes me cry. But I am happy to be here for my children if not for them I would have given up long ago. I wanted a little girl with my new husband Jimmy but I have the playpen but not the carriage. lol ha ha We often think about adopting. We shall see. I hope I am not too depressing with this life story but I want others to know, looks fade, time goes by but if I can do it others can too. Take care, thanks for reading my life story.
