Angela's Story
Here is a brief summary of my life for the past many years since RLHS! Graduated from Lycoming College - major in Psychology (1968), worked at Catholic University in research with deaf children, received masters degree in Deaf Education (1973), married Frank Bednarczyk 1973, Taught deaf children at a public school in Maryland and then worked at Gallaudet University for 20 years - teaching deaf children and supervising programs for deaf children, received PhD in...Expand for more
special education - 1991, retired from Gallaudet University (1997), worked at IDRT designing software for deaf children and adults for 10 years - retired 2007. Husband passed away in 2003. 2011 began working at school for deaf children in Senegal, West Africa as a teacher trainer - still working there part of the year, and working at other schools for the deaf in teacher training, and program development in Senegal. Now living in West Virginia when in the US.
