Life Immediately following H.S., I moved to Orlando and began work as a pharm tech in a hospital. That lasted all of 6 mos so I moved back to Columbus and began classes at CSCC. I did the typical thing; partied and studied for a few years. I moved to Pittsburgh in 2000 to attend The Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. I graduated in 2002 with an A.S. and an A.S.B in Funeral Service Mgmt and Embalming. I served my internship in Altoona, Pa. Just before I finished, my father was unexpectedly diagnosed with terminal cancer. I moved back to Columbus to be with him and my family. He died Oct 02. I got a job with Schoedinger F.H. I wasnt completely fulfilled so in Apr 03, I joined the Army. I went through Basic Training at Ft. Jackson, S.C. and A.I.T. at Ft. Sam Housten, TX. I broke my hip during basic, and was in rehab for 3 mos! My first duty station was Ft. Belvoir, VA in the E.R. at an army hopital. I was then transferred up to Ft. Myer, VA.
