Angela's Story
Well, I could write a biography but I don't want to bore anyone, lol!!! Since graduating in 1985, I had 3 sons who have grown up to be very fine men. I am very proud of my boys. Chance is the oldest at 23, he is a member of the Army National Guard, attends Angelina College full time and works 2 other jobs so he stays pretty busy. Zach who is 22, lives in Westlake, La with his wife, April and their beautiful little girl, Preslee. He is a certified firefighter in Texas and Louisiana and just recently passed his EMT state board!! He is a full time firefighter with the Westlake Fire Dept. His wife April just started cosmetology school last month and has about 9 1/2 months to go. As just mentioned, I have a 17 mth old granddaughter! I am completely crazy and in love with and about her. boys!! She has me wrapped around her little finger and she is starting to understand the control she has over me, lol!!! She is beautiful, smart and spoilt rotten! My youngest son, Gage, is 18 and just graduated from high school this past May. He works 2 part-time jobs and is about to enlist in the Army because as he says, "I am ready to get out of this town!" I am married to a fellow classmate, Mark Russell, and have never been more happier in my life. He is a wonderful person, my best-friend and soulmate. He has spoilt me rotten since we met back up in 2002 and continues to do so today. He has a daughter, Savanna who is 19. She lives in Lufkin and works at E-Tech. I teach ELA/Read Now to 8th graders at Diboll Jr. High and wouldn't trade my job for the world. Call me crazy but I love that age group. They keep me on my toes!!!
