Angela's Story
I live on a farmstead with a variety of animals, hoping to open a petting farm and to educate youth about the importance of livestock. I have one 13 year old young adult child whom I home school and am coming on my 3rd anniversary to a country raised guy. I work for my Ojibwe reservation as a casino associate to better our community and am now an executive there.
I enjoy my many animals that we have collected over the years anything from ducks, chickens, geese, pigs, horses, goats, sheep, dogs and cats. Quite a change from how I was brought up and a real adventure. I enjoy being close to my family and value my cultures importance and future as a native nation.
I always wanted to be a educator as I grew. My family and friends thought that was a courageous idea. They were very supportive and encouraging.
I can't express enough about our celebrations and feel very passionate about the drum ceremony.

ve been fortunate enough to have actually one that is part of my life and can be proud to have met -he is a veteran who has been decorated with many purple hearts, is very modest and continues to provide nuture and guidance. As well as an aunt who is the first women in the White Earth history to serve as a Tribal Council Chairperson we are so proud of the all of her accomplishments as she serves her term here for our peoples wellbeing in growing to be a stronger.
Life doesn't always turn out the way we expect which for my personal experience is alright. I have endured allot but still can say I am relieved that I have survived through it all.
Starting with the turmoil I overcame from an abusive relationship and a child with epilepsy thankfully we found an individual who is supportive and nonjudgmental, we are blessed.
