Angela's Story

Life A small town could never fill the big dreams I had for myself....So right before graduation I enlisted in the Air Force. I left for boot camp in September, after boot camp I headed off to training in Mississippi. My first assignment was Misawa, Japan. While in the Far East I met and married a Georgia boy. After spending 3 years in Japan we were sent to Louisiana. We were at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana for six years. We have two children daughter (8) and a son (5). After completing my Bachelors in Business Management, I separated from the Air Force in January 2002 with just a little over 8 years in the military. I was offered a pretty good government contractor position here in middle GA which happens to be my husband’s home town. So we packed up and headed southeast ......Expand for more
now I am a Yankee transplanted in the south ;-). Hope someone rescues me soon :-) On the professional side … I work for one of “Fortune 100 Best Companies to work for” … SRA International, Inc. I have been with this company for two years. As a Program Management Analyst I work contracts for the Special Operation Forces helicopters and the logistical support they require in the field. I am grateful for the friends I have met over the past 10 plus years but I have greatly missed seeing all my classmates over the years. I hope everyone is happy and living their best life. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us all. I hope to get the chance to see everyone soon!! **Work like you don't need the money. Dance like no one is watching. Love like you've never been hurt.**
