Angelique's Story
I graduated from NSU then attended Nuclear Medicine Tech. School in Shreveport. My first job was at Ochsner's in New Orleans where I met my husband Mark. We married in 1980 and in 1981 we moved to Santa Clara, California. Mark worked for Intel and I was a research assistant for Envirotech.
We had our first daughter in December of 1982 and in February of 1983 we moved to Oregon where we still live. Our second daughter arrived on New Years Day of...Expand for more
1988. We love Portland and the Pacific Northwest. I have not worked (for pay!) since our first daughter was born but volunteered at the girls schools, then for environmental groups. I mostly focus on native plants and lead wildflower hikes in the spring and summer.
Our girls have both married and are living in Portland. In February of 2019 our first grandchild, Rhys (named for one of his Welsh relatives), was born and he is very much cherished.
