Angelique's Story

Career Then:
After graduating Hampton High School in 1991, I entered Hampton University and graduated in 1995. I then pursued a legal career by attending and graduating from the University of Richmond Law School (T.C. Williams School of Law) in 1998. Since then, I have been a prosecutor, defense attorney, and guardian ad litem. However, my passion was always teaching; therefore, I was able to pursue that direction as an adjunct professor for paralegal studies department at a couple of community colleges and at Hampton University. I ended up landing a terrific job at Hampton University College of Continuing Eduction as an Education Specialist.
Career Now: I am currently a stay-at-home mom to my two daughters. It is the most rewarding but challenging job I've ever had. It is an honor to be given the opportunity to be a good steward of the two gifts God gave us.
In addition, I still teach paralegal classes online for Hampton University.
Relationship: I am married to my best friend Tetsuro Kearney (Phoebus c/o 1992).".
