College
I entered Indiana University of Pennsylvania as a journalism major and managed to graduate with the same degree--one of the few in my social group who didn't change majors! At IUP, I volunteered at the University Museum, which set me on my career path into museums.
I returned to school after a couple of years to get my master's in museum studies. My experience...Expand for more
at The University of the Arts was completely different than IUP--urban, arts-centric, very focused--though I feel that both were the right thing at the time.
Workplace
I've worked at The Baltimore Museum of Art and interned at several museums and galleries in Philadelphia. Currently, I am an account executive for a fundraising firm specializing in arts organizations.
