Angi's Story

Angi is from Fort Collins, Colorado. Angi's schools include Ft. Collins High School. Angi works(ed) at Mister Money Usa. Angi's interests include Broncos forever and always!. One of Angi's favorite quotes is:"I was once afraid of people saying, "Who does she think she is?" Now I have the courage to stand and say, "This is who I am." {Oprah Winfrey}; "If You Think You Can, or You Think You Can't...You are Right"; "Trying is a Noisy Way of Doing Nothing (one of my mentors Chad Meyers II), "Because I'm the Mom and I Love You...That's Why" (me to my babes); "Mama, I love you" (from the words of my babes), "Live out your imagination, not your history" (Stephen Covey); "I Do" (my husband and our promise to each other). And one of my favorite "healing songs" ~ "I thought if I could touch this place or feel it, this brokenness inside me might start healing, out here it's like I'm someone else, I thought that maybe I could find myself from the house that built me ~ Miranda Lambert song reminding me of my birth family and how I continually learn to overcome and move on. God must think me extremely strong ~ may I succeed and not disappoint Him.". More about Angi:"I am blessed to have a wonderful husband, two sons, and a daughter. Life is good. (She smiles). I worked in law enforcement for several years as a major crime detective and currently have my own business as a consultant/law enforcement liaison on behalf of the pawnbroker industry. I have gone back to school to add to my Criminal Justice degree and am near graduation for a B.A. in Psychology. I am a very busy mom of three and life is crazy hectic fun, and I would have it any other way! Always great reconnecting with high school friends! FCHS class of 1987 hold great, great memories for me! We rocked! (Still do friends)! ~Live. Love. Laugh. Lots ~ I believe that integrity is what makes the world truly go 'round, that good, genuine friends make life that much sweeter, and that balance between personal life and career is imperative. I'm thankful for all the lessons learned as I continue to walk this beautiful mess called Life. Parenthood is the hardest job in the world in order to turn little ones into amazing adults, but my three kids make it pretty worthwhile and fun, even in the most "what the heck do I do now" moments. I love, love, love being a mom and am blessed with two sons, Drake and Robby ages 20 and 10, and daughter, Brecken age 8. My kids keep me grounded, focused, and inspired to be my very best. Drake, Robby, Brecken, thank you for coming into my life as I gave birth to you, for all our laughs, for your hard work and devotion, and for teaching me what love between a parent and a child feels like. I am honored to be your mother. Into your adult years, I hope to be one of your best friends whom you trust, admire and respect. I always want to be your mama, your kids grandma, and for...Expand for more
ever your shoulder to lean on. I just can't tell you, my children, how much I love you with every ounce of breath that I breathe. Marriage has been an interesting road for me yet I have learned so much and grown so much because of the steps traveled. Tony and I are good friends and I adore him as my oldest son's dad. We divorced in 1993 yet have remained solid on having raised Drake together as best we could in two households. I am blessed with a great friendship with my first ex-husband. Drake is an amazing young man and his dad and I are so proud of him. Brett and I have been together since 1994 when we were introduced to each other by our good friends Susie and Jerry. We have been through valleys and peaks many times over together and though we divorced, we just really couldn't stay away from each other. Life has an amazing way of making realizations and love come true again and again. Brett is my rock and really has been the love of my life. Our history is different than most, we know, but hey...it's made life very interesting and we can honestly say we have given 200%. Now, we are simply grounded and enjoy our friendship, love, and family ties that are about as strong as you can get. Brett...thank you for standing by my side, even when we weren't together. We can laugh about it all now, but boy has it been a ride. I love you with all of my heart. I hope to always be your sweet and sexy thing, even as we sit on our front porch together, with wrinkles and gray hair, and some type of lap dog between us. ;) Thank you for your patience, for learning from your mistakes, for letting me learn from mine, and for simply loving me always. Oh the stories to tell our kids and grandkids in the future upon mistakes and accomplishments we have learned when it comes to love, hard work, and family! I treasure my friends and I hope to make all around me smile. My friends since junior high school all the way to new friends made, partnered with my family relatives that all know my heart and soul, are the other pieces of my puzzle to having such a wonderful, solid ground. I am truly blessed with knowing all the people I do. As for my life and ways of seeing the world: I believe in providence, hard work, and perseverance. I simply want to be the happiest I can be, live a full-filled and highly genuine life, enjoy good and trustworthy, high-integrity people around me, learn from the bad situations life sometimes throws, and kick back with an icy cold glass of iced tea, good food and to casually stroll along toward success and pure wealth. Not wealth in the simple sense of dollar signs (that would be a bonus), but wealth in the all-around sense that I can have it all and embrace what I've achieved, in the guidance and direction I leave behind for my children and generations to come. Here's to love, friendship, peace, harmony, smiles, hugs, and high-fives. xoxox".
