Angie's Story
Most of you probably won't remember me because I took Distributive Education classes and left the campus at noon to go to work at Furr's Supermarket as a cashier for the last two years of high school. I also left Irvin in March, 1965 because my family moved to South Texas and I actually graduated from Los Fresnos High School after attending all my previous years at Irvin (that was sad). hool graduate of 1962. Guess what? I met him working at Furr's. We have now been married 45 years and live in California. Our two lovely adult daughters also live in California. We have 4 grandchildren. Mike became a lawyer and I became a vocational High School teacher (thanks to my memories of Mrs. Holcomb). We are now both retired and having a wonderful life! We make frequent trips to El Paso because my mother still lives there (she is 92).
