Angela's Story

Life I am married to quite a catch. We met by being a part of the same car club for Evos. We were friends for a while first and it eventually grew into something more. We have a house in Everett that is full of dogs and cats, but no kids. We still have both of our Evos and our more grown up cars. Work full time as a computer nerd on the eastside and also teach Belly Dance at north end recreation centers and online. My hobby job is what I love, I'm a bellydancer with Rishi's Egypt Bellydance Company based out of Everett. School I've been to so many schools, some people may not remember me, but I remember a few people from everywhere. 4-6th Grade: Stanwood. Remember a few friends, most I haven't been in touch with like Leeanna and Erin. Remember going boy crazy with Jennifer and Sara. As I recall, I was crazy about Erik Anderson at the time. 7th Grade: Headed to Long Beach, CA. Jefferson JH. Way different world. Lots of trouble. Was student body governor, I think it was all based on miniskirt for the boys and being nice to the girls. Hung out a lot with Andra, went out with Robert, and remember Pompi, Candy, Richard, Duane, John, and a handful of guys and gals. First french kiss, gotta love peer pressure and an older guy, NOT. Didn't catch me frenching again for a lonnnggggg time. End of 7th and 8th, beginning of 9th - Edmonds, WA. Culture shock to suburbia a bit. Went to College Place Middle School, then Edmonds Woodway High School. Jennifer, Heather, Jennifer, Rebecca, Tori, so many people I cant list them all. Boys? Jack (forever sweet), Trevor (we fell too quick and hard, boy did my dad put a stop to that), Henry of course. Those were the good ole days :-) First year of high school, Dameon, cradle robber. A life lesson why a freshman should NOT date a senior. Tooo much pressure. Enough about that. 9th Grade - Lets see, Edmonds of course, then Seattle, then Mukilteo. After Edmonds Woodway, went to Ingraham HS in Seattle. Another culture shock out of suburbia. New girl, brought attention, first the good for me kind, quickly followed by the bad for me but oh so fun and interesing for me kind. Lets see, the D word brought me flowers there once, realized competition was a bit different now, and I wasn't going to let him pressure me, so that ended. That turned into my biggest memory at Ingraham, my first love Vern. That ended up being a huge confusing mess, if only...Expand for more
he knew everything, not just what he heard from friends, but he didn't let me clear up any air. All I can say is, he was great, treated me great, and its too bad it was ended like it was. And my best friend Stephanie, always remember her. Had to leave home. That was a crazy time. Why is it that when any guy helps you out, they make you feel you have to give them something in return. Talk about a girl getting scared, confused, and saying what the heck am I supposed to do. Back at home. Headed to school at Olympic View in Mukilteo. Oh, way too much of a suburbia shock, plus going from a high school to a Junior High, weird. Kept going back to my old school to see friends, ultimately, not home anymore. Way more drama. Missed most of my 9th grade. There is so much that happened between here and Everett. More than a girl should go through and experience at that age, but it doesn't belong here. Ultimately moved to Everett where I ended up meeting my first husband. Settled down and started putting my life back together. Time to get back in school, heck, I wasn't stupid. 10th grade to Graduation - Everett/Mukilteo. Went to ACES, referred me to ECS to make up for my 9th grade and be able to enter 10th like I should be. Went to ACES through graduation. Small school, not many people I didn't know. Always in a relationship though so I didn't date anyone there. Though there were some interests. Flirting was as far as I would go. Great teachers. Good environment. I'm lucky I went there. Graduated with Honors, got awards and scholarships, so many I was getting embarassed having to walk up to the podeum so many times, but also honored. Graduation Night. Hm, started quite interesting, was cut short though! College Went to Edmonds CC for a year, til life's drama caught up. Took a year off from school, work, almost everything and went through a depression and what am I supposed to be doing stage. Got myself out of that and went back to college for my Associates in CIS. Workplace I'm a technical support consultant at a small midrange software company in Kirkland, overlooking Lake Washington. Workplace 2 Started taking bellydancing classes 2 years ago and am now a dancer in Rishi's Egypt Bellydance Company. I Looovve bellydancing. The company has pretty much retired, but the teaching baton was passed down to me, so now I teach belly dance in Lynnwood, Everett, Mukilteo, and online.
