Anita's Story
Life
It took a while but wishes do come true. At least that is how I feel at this point in my life. I have been married for six years to a wonderful man (Richard). I have an adorable little boy, Gordon who will be five years old in November and a precious little girl, Calista, who turned one recently. We own a three bedroom house in a good neighborhood and just a few blocks away from my In-Laws. I get along great with my In-Laws! I have a job that I usually enjoy and keeps me on my toes. For a long time I wasn't sure I was going to have any of my wishes come true but they have and I am very grateful. I've run into a few bumps along the way but on the whole I must say that I am quite happy.

- Psychology Major
Moved to Buffalo NY after having a summer job in the area.
Worked at Baker Victory Services with emotional & behavioral problem children.
Met my future husband through a co-worker and on 5/5/01 married him.
Worked at Community Serv. for the Dev. Disabled- site manager for an apartment building full of developmentally disabled gentlemen.
Was hired by Erie co. Dept. of Social Services as a Children's Services Caseworker. I work with families whose children are in foster care or at risk of being placed in foster care.
On 11/30/02 was blessed with Gordon.
Still at ECDSS and was promoted to Sr. Caseworker.
On 8/29/06 was blessed with Calista.
I'm currently awaiting for a position with Erie Co. Probation. I'd be working with my husband who is currently an Officer.
