Anita's Story
I have been very busy since High School. I started college full time and after a awhile I started working full time and finished college going nights. It took longer then expected but I did it. I worked as comptroller for trucking companies until 1990. At that time my husband and I bought our first Alpacas. We moved to the mountains outside Fort Collins Colorado and had the Alpacas, a 350 acre alfalfa farm, and 10,000 head feedlot. We were in Colorado for 15 years and then moved our Alpacas to Murfreesboro, North Carolina October 18, 2004. We have 68 Alpacas ...Expand for more
and have the fiber processed and sell the finished products along with the young Alpacas. We enjoy this life style and our small town with all our new friends.
The reason we moved to North Carolina is my brother built a house on the family farm and it was time to get geographically closer to family. Life has been great.
I have been married for 25 years and have 3 step children. They are all grown but still need financial help occasionally. My grand daughter is a real joy. She enjoys coming to Gran-Ma's with the Alpacas.
Hope life has been good to everyone else.
