Anita's Story

Life After graduating from Jetton I started my first year at Tilghman. I dropped out, took my GED, and started classes at PCC. After a couple of semesters I went on to Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City Florida then to Florida State University in Tallahassee Florida. I graduated from there in 1984 with a BS in biology. I pursued graduate work in anthropology as well but lacked my thesis finishing...Expand for more

My work history includes U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Marine Fisheries Service (in Panama City), Florida Department of Natural Resources (in Crystal River and St. Joe), and Florida Department of Environmental Regulation (in Pensacola and Tallahassee). I lived in Florida about twenty years before returning home. Currently I live on a farm outside of Salem, and work as a free lance writer.
