Anita's Story
Life
I'm back in AZ after many years and unfortunately missed the 50th reunion. I had just moved to AZ and didn't know about it. I now live in Sun City, AZ after living most of my married life in CA. (Garden Grove, San Luis Obispo and Rohnert Park). I will celebrate 49 years of marriage in June, 2008, we have 3 children, and 4 grandchildren ages 5-19 years old. I attended U of A, graduated from Luther College, Decorah, IO. Eventually I went back to school and earned two graduate degrees - an MA in Education; Counseling & Guidance and MA in Marriage, Family Child Counseling. I'm now retired from careers as a licensed Marriage, Family Therapist and an elementary school counselor.
I still love horsebackriding and am currently president of the Sun Cities Saddle Club. My current passion is painting - mainly water based oils with some water colors - portraits, animals, desert scenes and flowers. I also love yoga, ballroom dancing and read a variety of books.

I was only at Scottsdale High my senior year, 1954-55, but would love to hear from some of my high school friends with whom I have lost track..
It's now the summer of 2011. I still live in Sun City and spend summer time in Munds Park. Have celebrated 52 years of marriage and the trauma of almost losing a son due to an aortic dissection of an ascending aorta. We're thankful that he survived 91/2 hr. surgery and is doing well minus a few setbacks. I'm still able to ride horses, paint, practise yoga, etc. and lead an active life (plus a few more aches and pains) for which I am thankful. Am also blessed with a loving husband and we're thankful for everyday we have together. I still have many wonderful memories of my senior year of high school at Scottsdale High. We visited my three previous homes (Chicago, Waterford and Racine WI) this summer which was nice. Will soon be settled back in Sun City. Right now are in Munds Park RV Park where we own a park model.
