Wow ~ its 30 yrs this 2014 ~ in a quick synopsis ~ here's where I've been, done, doin ~ After HS ~ went to a Travel School ~ got my Travel Agent certificate ~ and began to travel. Lived in Vail Co, Honolulu & Maui HI, Redondo, Hermosa, CA, So.Lake Tahoe, NV, San Francisco, CA ~ and those just the places I lived. For travel ~ Ive been lucky to see probably together a quarter of the US from WA, CA, NV, NM AZ to FL, GA, AL, NY, LA. Can we say ~ I love to see and experience new places. Outside the US I haven't been as fortunate but did get to enjoy Cancun and surrounding archaeology in Mexico. Future travel plans hopefully include Alaska, Maine, Texas and overseas I'd love to go to Greece, Italy and France...all of Europe if possible. So enough of dreaming ~ What have I done ~ well career wise ~ the Travel certificate opened the door for me to work in Ski Resorts, that led to Hotels and that led to a Hawaiian Travel Agency ~ from there I started to do the accounting and Managing the office as well and opened two branch offices for this Agency, which brought me to open the 3rd office in Los Angeles CA ~ in the end all has led me to where my last position as a CFO and full charge bookkeeper for a local Oregon company (12 yrs combined). About 16 yrs back, I moved permanently back to the Rogue Valley from my last place in San Fran and bought a house first in Central Point, and now in Gold Hill OR.
