Anita's Story
Life
After graduation I joined the USMC and did my boot camp at Parris
Island and my schooling at Ft. Benjamin Harrison Ind. My first permanent duty station was at Barstow CA and my second permanent duty station was Camp Pendleton CA. I married GYSGT
James D. Smith in 1973 and we had a daughter, April, born in 1974 and a son Matthew born in 1978. Ji...Expand for more
m passed away in 1998. In our
25 year marriage we crisscrossed the USA in the USMC and then in
construction. I re-maarried in 2000 to Ely Trent and we now live in
rural TN on approximately 10 1/2 acres. We currently work as houseparents at the Baptist children's home in Greeneville. We enjoy
Southern gospel music, reading, nature and our dog Boots.
