Anita's Story
Although I left Parkdale in grade 11, I went on to graduate with honours in 1980 after having 2 of our 3 children. I have been married to Ross Townsend for 42 years and we have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren. Our 2 sons Chad and Jordan live in Markdale, ON and our daughter Kelly lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. print advertising, but for the last 12 years I have managed a transport business which hauls for Metro Stores out of Toronto from home. Our sons are both employed locally, and Kelly has been in Charlotte for the last 18 years in the financial field. I enjoy living in a "High Park" setting, but really miss Toronto and its culture. I am thankful for online shopping, otherwise this city girl would have been back long ago.Update...now happily retired to a lakeside private community on Lake Huron.
